Bayonet coupling
A bayonet connection supports quick attachment of the selected compatible head and configuration.
A specialist tool designed to help trained industrial responders install compatible plugs and patches on selected low-pressure liquid leaks.
YakoFix is intended for use with compatible leak-control consumables in situations assessed by competent personnel. The correct configuration depends on the opening, surface, fluid and operating conditions.
The system supports installation of compatible screw patches, T-patches, ball plugs and taper plugs. Typical application sizes are approximately 6–100 mm, depending on the leak geometry, surface and selected consumable.

YakoFix is designed around a controlled coupling and tightening sequence for the supported consumables.
A bayonet connection supports quick attachment of the selected compatible head and configuration.
The male head is designed for quick tightening when used with the selected compatible plug or patch.
The toggle nut supports installation from a distance in compatible setups, helping the user maintain a safer position when conditions allow.
YakoFix is a component of a trained response, not a substitute for isolation, process safety, or site-specific emergency procedures.
Designed for selected low-pressure liquid leak-control applications. The chemical, temperature, pressure and surface condition must be checked for each task.
Use only compatible consumables and configurations. Confirm the plug or patch selection against the leak shape, opening, substrate and manufacturer guidance.
YakoFix is not ATEX-certified equipment. Material selection and static-control provisions support assessment for EX-area use; the employer or responsible authority must determine suitability for the specific zone and task.
This overview is not an operating instruction. Use the current YakoFix guide, approved training and the facility’s response procedures.
Identify the fluid, pressure, temperature, leak geometry, surface and hazards. Isolate where required by site procedures.
Choose a compatible plug or patch, size and tool configuration for the assessed conditions.
A trained user follows the current operating guide and maintains the controls established for the task.
Check the result and continue monitoring or escalation as directed by site response procedures.
The YakoFix body is die-cast aluminium alloy with a protective coating. The front tube, shaft and female head use Grade 2 titanium.
Material selection alone does not certify equipment for a hazardous area; confirm suitability for the specific application and site controls.

No. YakoFix is for selected low-pressure liquid leak-control applications, not pressurized gas.
No. It is not ATEX-certified equipment. A competent site-specific assessment is required before use in classified areas.
Yes. YakoFix is for trained professional users. Contact IMEX-Solutions to discuss a demonstration and training.
Share the process conditions and leak details so the correct solution can be assessed.
